Wildlife — Hornøya

The Hornøya project was initiated by Vardø Næringsforening and Biotope. Vardø Næringsforening is the collective of Vardø-based businesses and interest groups. This project has very kindly been supported by several regional and local parties, including Vardø Kommune, Finnmark Fylkeskommune, Innovation Norway and Miljødirektoratet. A very big thanks to them all for contributions and making this website and the wider Hornøya project possible. Hornøya bird cliff is one of the finest nature attractions in Varanger and securing good and inspirational information to the public is a key aim of this project.
